Heather Christie is a New York-based writer, producer/director, and educator. She is the creator of the LoveNotes! Real Stories. Real People. Real Love. off-Broadway storytelling show, the companion anthology, and podcast. She is also the winner of the National Indie Excellence Award-winning for her young adult novel, What The Valley Knows and its series companion The Lying Season. Find her essays in Salon, Next Tribe, Writer’s Digest, Baltimore Style, Scary Mommy, and Elephant Journal.
She holds an MFA in Creative Writing, and is an adjunct lecturer at the City University of New York.
Heather lives in Manhattan, but a piece of her heart remains in her small hometown near Reading, PA. She loves to read, run, drink tea, make Sunday dinner, and she doesn’t go anywhere without lipstick!
