Ignatius Robertson (1956) was born in Trinidad to a mother who was from Trinidad and a father from Grenada. His mother marched with Uriah Butler, the founder of the Oil Field Workers Trade Union in the 30s in Trinidad. Trinidad is one of the fastest oil producing countries in the Caribbean. After migrating to the US, he continued his education, studying psychology and attaining a degree in the field. He later went on to graduate school attaining a Masters In Public Administration. Ignatius enjoys the outdoor, mostly traveling, observing nature and of course finding people to be very interested. Many of his poems were depicted from his observation of people in their struggles and plight in this life. At the time when this poetry book was written, it was the era of the crack epidemic when he observed precious lives being destroyed. Ignatius continues to write and his latest ebook, The Magnificent Power Within Us, is a self help book that transform ones way of thinking.
