My real name is Jennie Schroder. I was born and raised in Oregon. I have 3 children, a dog and a cat.
Hello and welcome. I hope you find your stay here to be one of fun and excitement. Because that is what my writing is all about. If you have any questions please feel to let me know. If you would like to see something on here that is not yet here, email me please.
A little about myself. I am a native Oregonian. I have never really travelled, except for one summer I left Oregon and spent it in Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. I loved it so much and still want to go back. Maybe, even one of these days to live. Who knows. I would love to travel to Greece, Rome, Crete, well actually, all over the Mediterranean.
My love of writing began early on I would say about 7th grade. I had a wonderful teacher by the name of Mrs. Eckert. She inspired me to keep a journal and to write things to help me work my way through some tough spots in my life. I wrote my first poem that year and I have it to this day in my hope chest. It was about my grandfather and his death. It still brings tears to my eyes each time I read it.
I also (and I don't say this lightly) worship Mrs. Anne Rice. She has been an inspiration to me from such an early age. My first full length not forced novel was interview with a vampire. She brought me into a world that I love and that I don't think I want to ever leave. I have spoken to her one time and it was the best experience I have ever had. This woman will always be an inspiration to stay as humble as her and to maintain the ladylike persona she has with out being a prude. I love her, and if she ever reads this it is all true.
Much later in my life, I actually wrote a poem to my daughter right after she was born. It was published in some book, somewhere, but I never received my copy. But I still have a copy of the poem somewhere in storage in my daughters baby book.
My first book that I wrote is Thunderstorm. It follows Dika a descendant of Lilith, through the first battles against Eve and Lucifer to save humans and all other creatures of the world. This is the Daughters of Eden Series, there are plans to have at least 10 books in this series. Daughters of Eden tells the story of the first days in the Garden of Eden, gives a history you might say. The relationships between the first man and first woman all the way through the flood and the creation of vampires. What you thought about the Bible is about to change. The first two are out in print and available on e-book.
I am also working on a YA story based on some of the characters in the book. But it will resolve around the younger group.
