I never actually dreamed of being a writer. When I was at school, pens were scratchy and reading 'Janet & John' to the teacher was agony. But I've always loved a good story. Since I realised that I did actually have an imagination, I've been writing hopeful stories with a #resist theme. I firmly believe that the hope and adventures in my middle grade books are for readers of any age.
