James started making short martial arts films at the age of 16 using a borrowed camera, with hopes that one day he could build a career in the industry.
He spent years teaching himself to use whatever he had at his disposal to create the most cinematic experiences possible. James has directed 2 feature films as well as a new hit 6 part TV Show (Ringside - 2021)
After making his first feature film, Lead me to the dark, he realised that the vision he wanted to achieve was impossible on the budget he had and so turned his attention to novel writing. Doing this allowed him to the tell the story he wanted to tell.
