Contact me at Facebook, and twitter Plainly enough, I was born in Seattle, Washington, and have lived in Washington my entire life. I currently reside in Oak Harbor Washington. I graduated from Shorecrest High School. I have two lovely children, and three step-children. Two of my sons are autistic, and the oldest was involved with the Special Olympics, where he's taken gold, silver, and bronze medals in several different sports. In high school he was in the R.O.T.C. after graduating he got a job at island transit. I grew up working in the construction field, which was my career for more than 36 years. I immensely enjoy building things with my hands. When I started writing, it was nothing more than a hobby. One night I had a strange dream, and jotted down an outline of it the next morning. The outline developed into a story. One page turned into several pages. Somewhere along the way, in all this putting words down on paper, I discovered that I'd fallen in love with writing, and the more I wrote the more I developed a passion for it. And slowly I started developing my own writing style. I see mine as a cross between the styles of great writers like Michael Crichton, and Jack London. I like to tell a story -- an interesting one, an exciting one. I try to keep the readers wrapped up in the story. I love characters that continue to grow, and change, and challenged. I also like to weave messages into my stories. And most importantly, I strive to write unpredictable endings. I cover a wide range of subjects for my story-lines -- this gets me out of my own comfort zone, and challenges me. I believe this makes for a better story. I published my first book, "Humanity's Last Stand," in 2007. But after being seriously injured in a automobile accident, I began taking my writing more seriously. And the books kept on coming. To date, I've published 21 novels , paperback, hardcover, e-books, and audio books. I have also written my first screenplay, based upon my novel, "Attila's Lost Gold." I love to travel (my favorite destination is Hawaii, and Disneyland!) My favorite food is Chinese. I love home cooking, and sweets. And I love spending time with my family, who mean the world to me. I started writing because I realized I had a vivid imagination. I have a whole lot of stories still inside my head, waiting to come out. I credit writing for getting me through some pretty dark times. But the best part about writing is sharing my stories with my readers. Life -- and the people I meet -- have a way of becoming part of my stories. I have a saying: "Be careful -- you just might end up in one of my books!" Please check out my books on Amazon Books, as well as audio books!
