Jayne Hardy is a keen writer and the author of several books, including The Self-Care Project, Kind Words for Unkind Days, and Everything I Wish I’d Known About Stress: A Hopeful Toolkit. Having always found writing to be a tool for reflection, working through things, and gaining a different perspective, she founded The Blurt Foundation in 2011 where she wrote about her experiences of depression in the hope that her hindsight might help another’s foresight. Her work has been in magazines, in newspapers, on the radio, on the telly, won awards and gone viral. Her TEDx talk has amassed over 400,000 views.
