Jean Shaw started her literary career by accident writing poetry and her work has been featured in two best selling books. She lives in UK and believes things happen for a reason. Her first three books were written because of peer pressure, and the first, her favourite, was snapped up by a publisher in less than a week. Her writing is conversational and friendly. Jean's youngest son has autism and she links that and other health issues to mercury poisoning caused by dental amalgams. All the details and stories in her books on these subjects are true and sadly, do happen to people. Jean's books are mostly non-fiction and based on personal experiences. Jean likes condensing stories into rhyming verse and many of her books contain poems she's written. She's especially proud of her A Life In Rhyme series of poetry books and her two children's books - Jodi Goes To The Farm and Jodi Goes To The Zoo, which are completely educational rhyming verse. Jean considers herself to be a hobbyist author and loves creating books for children. She also narrates most of her books herself, and these can be found on Audible.
