Jeff Chatterton started in risk and crisis communications as a journalist, winning several awards for his coverage of a number of “crisis-oriented” events. Journalism led to politics, where he managed or consulted to over 50 political campaigns in three States and four Canadian Provinces. He finally fell into crisis communications the same way EVERYONE gets into crisis PR - "by accident." (See what he did there?) Whether it's the Ebola outbreak in Africa, privacy breach in Canada, a volcanic eruption in Ecuador or a hot air balloon accident in Las Vegas, he has been there and done that - servicing clients on six continents.
