Jeff Connor is the author of 14 books, including the classic account of the 1987 Tour de France (Wide Eyed and Legless) and the moving story of the Munich air disaster of 1958 (The Lost Babes). His latest, Busby's Last Crusade, covers Manchester United's rise from the ashes of Munich to the glory of the European Cup win 10 years later and is illustrated with some 200 images, many of them new to the public.
Connor was born in North Manchester and now lives in Lytham St Annes.
