Thanks for visiting my author page. I am a writer, history teacher and lawyer, earning my history degree many years ago, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Texas. I created and teach an innovative, extra-curricular Jewish history course for high school juniors and seniors and write Jewish historical fiction.
My WINDOW TO YESTERDAY novels explore key events in Jewish history. FOR THREE LINES is a story of love, hope and courage under horrible conditions. I very carefully research my books and strive for historical accuracy; each book includes Historical Notes at the end. I think accuracy is key to first-rate historical fiction.
I visited Israel several times before writing the WINDOW TO YESTERDAY books and explored Warsaw, Krakow, and elsewhere in Poland as a small part of my research for FOR THREE LINES. I’m from Houston, Texas, where my wife Beth and I raised our four children.
