The path that Jeffrey Walz took toward writing is somewhat eclectic. After acquiring a bachelor's degree in art, he began a career as an auto claims adjuster in Southern California. He later transitioned into a role as a stay-at-home father. It was during this period that Walz wrote and illustrated his yet-to-be-published children's book, Adventures with Mike Truk, as well as the screenplay that would become his novel, Walking Bridge. After earning a Masters in Counseling, he began counseling and writing full time. He currently lives in Colorado with his wife and two children.
Walz's novels, Walking Bridge and The Rewind, personify his belief in the possibility that the best of who we are can emerge from the worst of who we are.
