Women’s health advocate Jennifer Edwards is the author of Fasting Through The Change and Fifty and Fabulous (coming soon).
Her writing focuses on women’s health and wellness, particularly within the scope of menopause and intermittent fasting. Drawing on her extensive knowledge and experience, she makes complex health concepts accessible and easy to understand through her engaging and relatable style.
Jennifer was diagnosed with early menopause at the age of 38, which led her to immerse herself in meticulous research. This included an n-of-1 trial to relieve her symptoms holistically and address the emotional and psychological dimensions of going through menopause. Along the way, she developed a passion for empowering women through this phase of life, always keeping her eye on the goal of writing self-help books, which she was able to focus on when she retired from her career in finance.
In parallel with the later stages of her two-decade-long navigation of menopause, Jennifer began practicing intermittent fasting five years ago, committing to extensive research to tailor her approach to women going through menopause. The incredible results she experienced as a result fed into her work in women’s health, and she is dedicated to helping women of menopausal age use intermittent fasting in a way that truly works for their bodies and specific needs.
Jennifer is married to “the nicest guy she’s ever known” and has two adult sons. She enjoys yoga, which she has been practicing for over 25 years, and takes every opportunity she can to hike in the mountains with her two fur babies.
