Jennifer Young grew up on her family’s ranch in western Texas. Being a country girl opened her eyes to living off the land and understanding animals. Where her friends went to the mall, Jennifer spent her time on the farm learning how to care for cattle. Her favored pastime quickly became riding horses.
Now married with three children, Jennifer continues utilizing what she learned on the farm to cultivate and grow her own food. Her gardens take up most of the yard, a fact not lost on Peach and Sunny, her two dogs, and she has managed to sustain their produce output for years. Jennifer has decided to share her wealth of knowledge with the rest of the world by writing her first book on gardening for beginners. Her passion and love for all things gardening provides readers with an exuberant enthusiasm she hopes will continue to grow and spread, much like her gardens.
