Joe Chianakas is an author, professor, and LGBTQIA+ advocate. He's a two-time teacher-of-the-year winner and has written multiple bestselling novels. He loves long walks with his furbaby Bailey, a mini-Australian Shepherd. He lives in Peoria, IL with his husband, Brian.
