John Chetro Szivos, Ph.D.
An award-winning author who is a scholar-practitioner with academic ranks of full professor and Dean of the School of Professional Studies. He holds a doctoral degree in communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA and graduate degree in counseling. Before becoming an academic, he worked in behavioral health care as the Chief Executive. His work includes consultation with the World Health Organization, Electricite de France, psychiatric services of Prague, Czech Republic, and many domestic organizations. He has authored multiple journal articles, book chapters, and books. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and shares thrilling moments of mischief with his four grandchildren and two dogs.
