Mr. Hagensen holds the credentials of Certified Funds Specialist (CFS®), Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS®), Certified Estate and Trust Specialist (CES®), Certified Tax Specialist (CTS®), and Certified Income Specialist (CIS®). He is the Founder and Managing Director of Keystone Wealth Partners. He has a Master’s of Science Degree in Financial Services from the Institute of Business and Finance. Mr. Hagensen has a professional certificate from Duke University in Behavioral Finance, and is currently pursuing a Strategic Decision and Risk Management professional certification from Stanford University. Mr. Hagensen has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Corban University and completed postgraduate studies at Aviator College of Aeronautical Science and Technology. He was a commercial airline pilot prior to making a career change into financial planning. From 2009 to 2014 he founded Warren & Hagensen Wealth Management, Inc. During those six years, the firm experienced substantial growth. In 2014 he resigned from his broker-dealer and founded Keystone Wealth Partners. This transition was the next step in his commitment to provide objective, fee-based financial planning, free from the conflicts of interest associated with broker-dealer relationships. Mr. Hagensen provides strategic wealth counseling with tax, estate, and investment management integration. He is consistently recognized within the industry for his achievements and industry-leading growth. He is a four-time member of PBS’ exclusive Top 40 Club, and was a member of Berthel Fisher & Co. President’s Club, prior to resigning from the broker-dealer. Mr. Hagensen hosts the popular radio show, “Myth Busting with Keystone Wealth Partners” on KTAR Phoenix 92.3FM. In addition to writing this book, he is a sought-after public speaker, who has spoken in front of well over a thousand Arizonans about how to properly plan for and enter into retirement. Mr. Hagensen has the heart of a teacher, and his approach is educational and consultative. Because his investment recommendations are free from the conflicts of interest, he does not use “salesmanship” in his process as many brokers have for decades. Rather he adheres to a fiduciary standard of care. He is passionate about coaching his clients to remain disciplined to a long-term, academically-sound strategy. John resides in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife, Brittany, their five children, and a golden-doodle named Jax. He and his family attend church at Redemption Gilbert, and John enjoys playing an occasional round of golf.
