John Twisleton is a priest, ideas and people person, author and broadcaster. A Yorkshire Dalesman born1948 he worked his way down England to become a Sussex Downsman living between London and Brighton in Haywards Heath. His doctorate in polymer science. was awarded by Oxford University where he got top first in Chemistry 1970. He switched careers in 1973 to train as an Anglican priest serving in Doncaster, Guyana, Coventry, London and Sussex in parishes and as a mission adviser and theological college principal. John is married to Anne, fellow Christian enthusiast, with three children and two grandchildren. His middle name Fiennes is a reminder of his connection with the famed Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes family. Canon Twisleton broadcasts on London-based Premier Christian Radio and is familiar as a Bible Reading Fellowship author. His passion is helping people find peace in turbulent times by opening inner eyes to eternity. Christianity to Fr John is humanity in its right mind and greatest servant of the common good.
