Julian Michael Carver (born Joey Kelly) is a Scribe Award nominated novelist and a member of the IAMTW (International Association of Media Tie-in Writers).
Carver has described his work as science-fiction with elements of horror and adventure. He has written both original fiction and media tie-in fiction.
In 2021, Carver wrote the official film novelization for the film Freshwater, for which he was nominated for the Scribe Award in 2022 by the IAMTW, appearing in Locus Magazine. He has written fiction for BattleTech, and in 2024, released a licensed novel based on the TV show Primeval: New World. To date, it is the only novel written based on the show.
Carver is available for tie-in work for hire and enjoys writing media tie-in projects.
