After graduating with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, Julie moved to New Jersey to start her career as both a pharmacist and an author. Though Julie loves living by the shore, exploring new places is also a passion of hers, giving her inspiration for her writing. Her travels to Maui largely inspired the setting of her debut novel, An Element of Darkness.
