Juliet White's first attempt at fiction was a horror novel. She began and then abandoned it at age eleven because, it turns out, if you get too wrapped up in the worlds you create you can scare yourself silly. She has learned her lesson, and is now the author of "Educational Bedtime Stories for Six Year Olds: Zoology Stories." These stories feature plenty of intriguing animals and fun facts, but nothing in the least bit scary! She lives in Massachusetts, with her wonderful spouse and their incorrigible West Highland Terrier.
