K.B. Lacey/Hayden Mank is an author living life to the fullest while “writing the dream” (which often involves typing furiously while hiding from her kids). She’s a fan of life’s simple pleasures, like baking bread from scratch, camping under the stars, and absolutely not dealing with RV hookups—don’t even ask!
A fitness enthusiast, she’s conquered two half-marathons and three Spartan races, and she’s even found ways to turn her kids into workout props (they’ll thank her one day… probably). In 2020, she took the plunge and self-published her first book, a self-help memoir filled with hard-won life wisdom. By 2023, she’d released her first children’s middle-grade book, The Great Galactic Dance Competition: Tryout—because nothing says “fun” like alien dance-offs!
To keep her romance writing separate from her kid-friendly content, K.B. adopted the pen name Hayden Mank. Under this new alias, she recently launched her debut adult romance series, A Punch & Dux Romance: Counting Down to Love.
