My Family moved to Leeds, North Dakota when I was nine months old. We lived in a house just a stone's throw away from the swimming pool, a place that would become a significant part of my childhood. I attended Leeds Public School until the third grade, and then my father's job took us to Jamestown, North Dakota. I vividly remember the day I taught myself how to swim. It was a sunny summer day, and I was finally old enough to go to the swimming pool myself, around six. We had a few family friends living on the farm, and they graciously allowed me to experience the thrill of riding their horses, a memory that still brings a smile to my face. My life in Leeds may not have been filled with grand adventures, as I once penned in {Growing up in Leeds}, but the memories I carry are rich and fulfilling. I honed my water skiing and scuba diving skills, finding immense joy in these activities. I also had the opportunity to work on several ranches in North Dakota, a task that brought me great satisfaction. My father and I even raised cattle and horses, a venture that unfortunately ended when I was injured. Enjoy Keith Ankenbauer
