Kendall Ann Combs is an activist and advocate for the rights of survivors of domestic violence. A survivor herself, she created and hosts the international hit podcast, High Heels and Heartache, where she provides listeners access to mental health experts and interviews those with inspirational and extraordinary stories. She has been a featured presenter, speaking about the importance of self-care and resiliency for survivors of abuse, at national events including the annual conference of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Kendall Ann has always had a passion for reading and writing and it was one of her childhood dreams to become a published author. In hopes of encouraging future generations to love reading, Kendall Ann earned her BS in English and a M.Ed in Reading Education and taught middle school for several years.
When she’s not podcasting, speaking, or writing, you can find Kendall Ann reading, training for half marathons, spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and spoiling her dog.
