Kenneth Fore is a graduate of Georgia State University. I have an AA and BBA degree. I have accumulated business awards and chaired various committees. I am a disabled Army veteran and suffer from harsh tinnitus.
I have read many of the classics. I liked Jane Austen, Bram Stroker, Dickens, Shakespeare, among others. I believe James Joyce, were he alive, would be an indie author.
I retired early from my successful business to pursue what I always wanted to do and that was to write a story. I had no idea how you went about being a novelist-or the kind of novelist I wanted to become. Since I was a technical report writer for years I felt writing a novel would be a cake walk. Well, I was misguided.
My first novel was MOSSBACK and the novel was published as a tribute to a vanishing civilization that suffered through the depression, and two wars. This story is a character study about a world war 1 vet who hunts a giant buck that no one else had seen. He hunts the buck with a long bow and Indian arrowhead he'd found. He suffered from PTSD like most veterans who experienced intense combat.
My second novel was another matter. I wanted to write something different and for the story to be in an exotic locale. I isolated myself and became a recluse for five years to write and to study the craft of writing fiction. The effect of my effort the new novel titled, THE WOLF TATTOO.
It you liked JEREMIAH JOHNSON, CALL OF THE WILD, A MAN CALLED HORSE, THEM, and, if you like escape novels, please consider THE WOLF TATTOO. The first four chapters are free on kindle. The primary characters in THE WOLF TATTOO are Clayton, Tuma, Palafox, Goose, Skidder and Arnaq.
