My name is Kenneth Victor Bearce. I was born April 17/ 1943 in Titusville Pennsylvania. My family moved to Rochester N.Y. in 1948. In 1950 we moved to a suburb of Rochester called Sea Breeze. Dreamland Amusement Park was in our back yard. Lake Ontario was a skip and a hop to the North, and Irondequoit Bay a skip and two hops to our South. I had an amazing child hood filled with all sorts of entertainment. At that time, Park admittance was free. Rides cost five cents to twenty-five cents. Besides the park, I had fishing, hiking swimming and boating, and motorcycling at my fingertips. In the winter I had ice skating, Ice boating, motorcycle and car ice racing. Other than girls, I was interested in electronics, mechanics, auto body work and painting, playing guitar and writing country songs, and singing. Auto body and painting became my career and recording my music my lifelong hobby. I retired from the body shop in 2006. I have been dedicated to perfecting my recording skills every since. In the meantime I have been writing about my life and my dreams. My series of books titled “Kenny’s Short Stories” is a product of my autobiography. I do hope you enjoy reading them. Sincerely, Kenny V. Bearce
