Kevan Chandler grew up in North Carolina with a wild imagination and a rare neuromuscular disease called spinal muscular atrophy. He has a BA in Christian Counseling from John Wesley College, with a focus in prison ministry. He is the founder of the nonprofit We Carry Kevan, which provides support to families with disabilities around the world. Kevan and his wife, Katie, enjoy working in their garden and reading to each other.
