Kevin was born in 1972, in New Orleans, LA. He spent 8 years of his childhood in a little country town in southern Louisiana. There, he learned the rigors of growing up on a farm. His family was pretty poor and often ate food from the local dumpster. His mother always found a way to make he and his siblings proud of what they had. Despite the tough times, his family had lots of love.

After getting a high school GED, Kevin went on to attend Southeastern La University. In 1998, he received a commission from ROTC and left for Korea where he served his first active duty assignment. He has deployed several times to the middle east and other parts of the world defending the country he loves.

 How he achieves Success:
Though Kevin has achieved many accomplishments in his college days and while serving his country, Kevin is not a man who desires the glory of awards and badges. He doesn’t seek the spotlight. His focus and desire is to please God. He says, he now understands his purpose in life. He said, “Life has to be more than working, achieving, retiring, and dying; we all have a bigger purpose.” He wraps up success in this simple phrase: “Success does not come from what we achieve; it comes from how we love.”
