Kevin Ethan is a writer, blogger, freelance copy editor, and dog dad. He earned his Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in English Literature from Shimer College in Chicago, IL. He has been working as a full-time, freelance editor for 7 years.
Growing up in Rock Island, IL, he was a huge music and theater geek. After doing a little drum corps, he spent 5 years as a high school color-guard and WGI Winterguard instructor.
In 2010, Kevin joined the United States Army. He spent 4 years with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC and still misses jumping out of planes. One of his fondest memories of his time in Afghanistan, was when his infantry platoon sergeant sat everyone around the fire and read excerpts from 50 Shades of Grey.
