Having written this book in the seventh grade, Kim Peretz is a passionate young author. Kim believes that through reading and writing any individual can gain the most valuable traits in life-- imagination, creativity and hope. Kim plans to focus her time in the near future to inspire other young authors to publish their work and use their voice through writing. She recalls that writing Dani’s Diary as her first book truly helped her view middle school in a positive light and made it very memorable. Most importantly, Kim hopes that by reading Dani’s Diary, her readers will obtain the same comfort and confidence she developed in the first year of middle school.
