Born in Baltimore, Linda (L.S.) Collison headed West as a young woman. She worked "unarmed" as a Registered Nurse in Denver Hospitals while raising kids, somehow surviving for more than a decade. Collison is the author of novels and short fiction. Her first published novel, "Star-Crossed," published by Alfred A. Knopf, was a New York Public Library Book for the Teen Age - 2007.
