Glennon Doyle said: "This woman, Laura Parrott Perry, and her breathtakingly powerful survivor's story, She Wrote it Down, was made for just such a time as this, for this new day. In this new day, children who lost their childhoods in a firestorm of abuse, have discovered that they are fireproof."
Jen Hatmaker said of Homeward: "It is rare that I stop reading a book to track down the author online and bed for her cell number so I can tell her how beautiful, honest, and breathtaking her writing is, how much it is impacting me, how special a gift she is. And now you have the story of how I have Laura's cell."
