Laurence, originally from North London, is a Suffolk based writer. He was born into a family of actors having parents who both worked in West End shows during the 1980's. Diagnosed with Pragmatic Language Impairment (formally known as Semantic Pragmatic Disorder) at the age of four he overcame many of the communication difficulties associated with it as he grew up.
In his twenties he worked as an Assistant Stage Manager for Jill Freud & Company/ Suffolk Summer Theatres and INK Festival. Inspired by the plays he worked on, he decided put mind to writing. His first book "Pillbox" was inspired by his surroundings on the Suffolk coast.
Laurence is looking forward to writing his next book.
