Laurette McCook is a writer, and former television actress who is best known as "Cassiopea" on ABC's original "Battlestar Galactica" and "Happy Days". She recently completed a novel, "A Tempest in the Blood" which she hopes to publish early 2024. She volunteers each week in the ER at Providence Tarzana Hospital, as well as at the Getty Center Museum in Los Angeles for the last 20 years. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor John McCook.
