Lori Beasley-Bradley was born in 1958 in Benton, Illinois, a small town in the southern part of the state. Her mother was from the same area, but her father came from Alabama. Lori has a great love for the South and has traveled extensively, studying the histories of most of the southern states.
Lori's book, The Legend of the Swamp Witch, takes place in southern Louisiana, which is one of her favorite destinations. Her second novel is about a Kentucky girl who finds herself practicing prostitution in the Old West after the Civil War.
Book one of The Soiled Dove Sagas, The Ruby Queen, was published in February of 2015.
Book two of The Soiled Dove Sagas, The Queen of the Cow Towns, was released in 2015
Book three, of The Soiled Dove Sagas, Crown Queens, was released in 2016
Her release, Haunted Delphi: A Tale of the Black Bayou Witches, was released in September of 2016. It is a book that ties together The Legend of The Swamp Witch 2014, The Man in Black 2015, and Moon of the Witch 2015.
Lori has other titles set in the Old West, The Green River War 2016, The Grass Widow, Lost Dove, and the novella, A Tale for a Long Winter Night 2017. She has others in the works.
She released Sweet Rewards, a historical Romance set in southern Louisiana after the Civil War in 2017.
Her Contemporary Romances, featuring older characters include Promises 2015 and Dreams of Molly 2017.
Lori's latest release is something very different for her. It's a fast-paced dystopian thriller, Not Prepared, released in March 2017. Look for an Epic Fantasy and a Ghost Story some time in 2018.
