Lori Tobias's memoir, Storm Beat - A Journalist Reports From The Oregon Coast, debuted in September 2020 from Oregon State University. Her novel, Wander, was the 2017 winner of the Nancy Pearl Book Award in literary fiction and a finalist in the International Book Awards. She is also a journalist of more years than she likes to admit, most recently as a staff writer for The Oregonian, and previously as a features writer and columnist for the Rocky Mt. News. She lives on the Oregon Coast with husband Chan and rescue pups Gus & Lily.
