Lucas got his start writing one act plays for a local community theatre. From there he was hooked and has written several short stories including "Midnight Oil" from God Bless Us, Everyone: Christmas Carols Beyond Dickens.
Lucas has also written a screen play for a web series as well as a stage play. He has been working on a novel and plans on finishing it next year.
