M.J. Prest has been a professional blogger since 2007, writing on fashion, food, personal finance, and pop culture. She was editor-in-chief of EthicalStyle.com, a website dedicated to green issues in fashion, for four years. Prior to that she was a senior editor at The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the national newspaper for the nonprofit world. Her writing has also appeared in The Washington Post.
