Madison earned her Master of Fine Arts in Art Studio from the University of Kentucky and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming but has lived in Texas longer than anywhere else. Madison's work primarily explores life after death and sexual assault. Her favorite media are printmaking, painting, installation, and writing. Surviving is her first non-risograph, non-xerox book.
She currently resides in San Antonio, Texas, with her partner Alán and their two pups Maya and Levi.
