Maira Hernández is a first-generation Mexican American who was raised in an urban neighborhood in Los Angeles by immigrant parents. Throughout her career, Maira has been an advocate for education but more so career success for marginalized individuals. She works to inspire her community to help people empower themselves by reconnecting to their culture, values and heritage that their motherlands provide.
Having worked for non-profits guiding students through higher education and recognizing the need for cultural empowerment she decided to go on her very own Eat, Pray, Love adventure with a Mexican twist. In Aventura, Amor y Tacos, she shares the greatness that runs through her ancestry in order to help others discover their own.
