Mara-lee Stricker was born and raised in New York State, and then married and raised 6 children in North Carolina. Never did she think she'd find herself living as anything but an east coast girl, but now she calls Arizona home. Since 2012, life has brought four grandsons and so at the opening of this book the readers will note a symbolism, as any piece of art does with it's creator. She loves to dabble in many forms of the art world; painting, sketching, sewing, writing songs and playing guitar have woven through seasons in her life, and now an out-working of children's books brings new delight.
