Margrit Goodhand began writing during the 1980s. In 1988, she received the Jean Gray Allen Memorial Award, First Prize, for nonfiction from the Harrisburg Manuscript Club. After that, she completed college and graduate school and obtained post-graduate credentials in Clinical Social Work. Margrit is a licensed psychotherapist and writer. She has helped others with evidence-based, client-centered, and holistic practices that include meditation for over 20 years. She is the author of several paperbacks and ebooks that include short stories. (The AOVIA Principle: A Path of Unlimited Potential and Waking Up: An Unusual Transmigration, Half An Amish Man, and Rum and Coca-Cola). Margrit lives near the beach in Dunedin, Florida. As active member of the Dunedin Writers Group, she contributes selected works to the group’s yearly anthologies.
