I'm a retired U. S. Air Force officer, whose 24-year active-duty career took me to assignments around the world, working and/or living on three continents in seven different countries, including a tour in Cairo, Egypt. I finished my career on the Air Staff in the Pentagon, retiring in 1994.
I am a past National President of the Logistics Officer Association, and am honored to have been awarded the Association's Leadership and Lifetime Achievement awards.
My "second career" involved over 20 years of global information technology program management, sales, and business development. After that, I started my "third career" as "retired" but working in several charitable organizations and, finally, writing!
Raised in Manchester, CT, where part of "Angela's Letter" takes place, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with honors, in English Literature from Saint Michael's College. I have previously published a number or articles in professional journals, as well as the novel "The Third Day".
I live in Northern Virginia with my wife of 51 years, Dawn, who was not my high school sweetheart. We met in the Air Force when we were both lieutenants. For me, it was love at first sight!
