It was only our second date when Mark and I decided we wanted to have thirteen children. But each time we wanted another baby, he urged me to visit the doctor to make sure I was healthy enough. So, we got to have many years of raising children—lots of chances to learn through trial and error! (We know 13 different ways to potty train children!)
