Mary Wasche has had hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles published since winning her first writing contest at age 17.
Her award-winning novels and screenplays feature strong female characters in unique settings who overcome challenging relationships and circumstances.
A Book Excellence Award winner, Mary’s held membership in the Independent Book Publishers Association, Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Spenard Literary Society, Alaska Writers Guild, Chugach Writers Group, 49Writers, Minnesota Book Publishers Roundtable, and Hollywood’s IMDbPRo. She served as President of the Alaska Chapter of Romance Writers of America, and Editor of an historical society newsletter. One of her screenplays, a finalist in the Beverly Hills Film Festival, allowed her to attend a Hollywood awards event.
She speaks to community and library groups on “How to Get a Book from Your Head Into Your Hand”.
