Welcome to my author page! Let me introduce myself, I’m Melissa Bennett and I am a Christian. I am an imperfect person who is doing her best to live into the Gospel of Jesus Christ laid out in the Bible. I fail regularly and fully rely on God’s mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Everything else you could learn about me is secondary to, and colored by this truth.
Though I grew up in Central Texas, I currently live in the suburbs of Kansas City with my husband of 33 years and two spoiled rotten Miniature Schnauzers. Our four human children are grown and I am patiently awaiting to be promoted to “Gigi” status. (I hear that's a cushier gig!)
At fifty years old, I never thought that I’d be taking on a new hat - author. I am giddy with excitement! C.S. Lewis is credited with saying, “You are never to old to set another goal or dream a new dream.” I have adopted that wholeheartedly. I hope to be writing for a very long time to bring readers a unique voice and perspective. In short, I hope you read and enjoy my books.
