Melissa Mickelsen is a fantasy author with a passion for world-building, hiking, and collecting stickers from national parks. When she's not dreaming up magical realms, she’s likely exploring the outdoors with her family, training her collie, or enjoying a cozy campfire next to her trusty pop-up camper. A military spouse who has lived in seven different states over the past sixteen years, Melissa finds inspiration in the ever-changing landscapes and experiences that come with a life on the move.
Writing since elementary school, Melissa spent twelve years developing her first series before mustering the courage to publish.
