Meredith Alexander was raised in a family that believed in life long learning. Unfortunately her upbringing didn't involve a lot of affection. As she got older and struck out on her own path; she looked for that love in different forms to no avail.

Meredith also went through several traumatic events that tested her faith and her fortitude. These events included but wasn't limited to:

Death of her parents
Death of a child
Betrayal
Bankruptcy and financial ruin
These experiences allowed her to experience the gamut of emotions. These experiences have forced her to deal with:

Mild depression
Loss of focus
