Meredith’s career started in finance, and she found herself writing for the chief operations officer for McDonald’s USA. Meredith supported the most diverse senior leadership in the history of McDonald’s including the historical rise of the first African American CEO. During her time at the largest fast-food restaurant in the world, Meredith led award-winning global initiatives and external brand engagement resulting in McDonald’s recognition as a diversity leader and talent developer.
Meredith’s journey rising the ranks to become the youngest director at McDonald’s is featured in the best-selling book “Successful Women Think Differently,” by Valorie Burton and a variety of publications, including Diversity Woman magazine.
A nationally recognized leader, Meredith has received many awards, including top 30 young leaders by Ebony magazine, Minneapolis- St. Paul Business Journal's "40 Under 40 Awards," and she is the youngest recipient of Howard University's global visionary award.
Meredith has a B.A. in journalism from Howard University, a Master of Science in Managerial Communications from Northwestern University, and a 2021 Black Venture Institute fellow.
