Michael was born into a large Italian American family. He yearned to be close to his father. Most of his childhood and adolescent days, throughout the 1960s, were spent working at the family's neighborhood restaurant. Located in the heart of bustling North St. Louis, where the integration of the Black community was reshaping neighborhoods among the echoes of historical change.
A passionate horse racing handicapper and ardent St. Louis Cardinals supporter, he spent over 35 years working in the Stock Market industry. Secretly, he took time to work on his unfinished futuristic novel. After retirement from work, the haunting dreams, and memories of his days at the family restaurant suddenly compelled him to put his writing skills into the Coming-of-Age Memoir: “An Unforgettable Pastime.”
